I know this is a light hearted joke but it makes me feel really uncomfortable and kind of makes me mad. Graham Chapman was, himself, gay, and because of the way people reacted to it (not the members of Python, they were totally cool with it) and probably more pressures than just that as suicide is never about just one thing, he killed himself.

To me this post seems in VERY poor taste.

^ I do agree with you. At the same time, the dialogue of the scene is very fitting for how Dan Savage behaves and how lots of queer people react to him. Although it’s in some poor taste, some of it is painfully accurate.

Umm. Graham Chapman died of cancer. JFC.
